Celebrating 15 Years in India
The relationship between TIRUN and Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. dates back to 1993, when together, they pioneered the concept of cruise vacations in India. In these 15 years, tens of thousands of Indian cruise vacationers have been provided the highest quality of service and guidance from TIRUN’s experienced and qualified team of cruise counsellors.
TIRUN’s standing within the travel industry in India is at the highest level; both with the tour operators and the retail travel agents. With a network of five offices in New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai and Mumbai, and preferred partnerships in Hyderabad and Kolkata, TIRUN has comprehensively covered all the major source markets throughout India.
In the past, TIRUN Travel Marketing has successfully introduced India to a host of well known and established global travel brands including US Airways, British Midland, Hyatt Hotel Corporation and Hertz, to name just a few.

TIRUN Travel Marketing is promoted by Gautam Chadha, an entrepreneur and a
travel industry professional.
Gautam has over 25 years of experience in the travel industry in India and abroad. Starting with ITC Hotels, he moved on to American Express TRS (Travel) and then to British Airways, first as Marketing Manager-India and subsequently transferred to the companies headquarters in London as Marketing Coordinator-Asia, Africa & Australia, and concurrently, as Brand Manager-Ethnic Services. |

In 1991, the entrepreneur in Gautam surfaced and he returned to India with the franchise and set-up the India operations of Discover the World Marketing (DTWM), representing leading global travel brands including US Airways, Embassy Suites, Hampton Inn Hotels, Hertz and Universal Studios.
Gautam and his team's track record shows the value creation for all brands represented. High brand awareness, continuous annual revenue growth and quality service delivery which is a "benchmark" within the industry, are his notable contributions. He is responsible for spearheading the cruise revolution in India. Under his dynamic leadership, DTWM-India was an unqualified success.
On May 01, 2001 he rechristened DTWM-India as TIRUN Travel Marketing, preparing himself and his team for a new and challenging future business environment, and has since concentrated on cruise representations. In 2001, he also set-up one of India’s first online travel portals JourneyMart.com which he leads even today.
